Rethinking mosquito control through behavior-driven design.
Existing repellents are toxic, high-maintenance, and visually intrusive — often solving the symptoms, not the cause. For urban users, the need was clear: a solution that is safe, affordable, and low-effort. Trickz was designed as a passive, sustainable product that blends into modern spaces while delivering real functional value.
A quiet, effective alternative to chemical repellents.
Trickz combines an ATSB (Attractive Toxin Sugar Bait) system with a titanium dioxide coating to simulate human presence — drawing mosquitoes in, feeding them, and eliminating them within hours. Its design features a monthly replaceable bait packets, a 25° auto-lock mechanism for safe placement & a compact, material-conscious form that fits discreetly in any room. Trickz was prototyped, 3D printed, tested with 30+ users, and iterated across multiple design rounds.
